Orchestra Miami Presents “Mozart Under the Moonlight”,
A Free Concert in Miami Beach’s Newly Completed Collins Park

Orchestra Miami proudly makes its Miami Beach debut in a special outdoor event. “Mozart Under the Moonlight” will be presented as a gift to the community, allowing music lovers to come hear the quality of the orchestra completely free of charge. This concert is presented in association with the Hispanic-American Lyric Theatre and with the generous support of the City of Miami Beach, Cultural Affairs Program, and Cultural Arts Council.

This not-to-be missed event takes place at 7:00 PM on Saturday, March 19, 2011. In what promises to be a truly special evening, Orchestra Miami will perform Mozart’s popular “Eine Kleine Nachtmusik” (A Little Night Music) Serenade, Samuel Barber’s poignant composition “Knoxville: Summer of 1915” featuring the lovely Susana Díaz as soprano soloist, and Mozart’s joyous Symphony N. 29 in A Major, K. 201. Conducted by Artistic Director, Elaine Rinaldi, this concert presents the perfect opportunity to take advantage of our balmy South Florida weather and the beauty of Miami Beach.

Bring a lawn chair or a blanket, a picnic and a bottle of wine! Collins Park is located on Collins Avenue, between 21rst and 22nd Streets, directly in front of the Bass Museum. For more information about Orchestra Miami, please call (305) 274-2103 or visit www.orchestramiami.org.
